Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, widely known as M.anifest, or the god MC is a Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter. He is best known for his use of “big English or words”, superb wordplay, and a unique or soothing voice. Accustomed to having a unique style and not following trends, M.anifest is one of the best rappers in Africa, and could easily fit in the rap industry of any English-speaking country. In 2015, The Guardian named M.anifest as “the foremost rapper on the continent.”
Released in 2017, “Me Ne Woa” is a single that features King Promise. M.anifest tones down his rap to give the song a mild or somewhat low tempo. It was an instant hit, with over 1million views on youtube.
