Following the social media brawl between Tracy Boakye and Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel, a Ghanaian Hiplife artist, emerged the trending term “Papa no”, used to described a former A-list political benefactor or “sugar daddy” of these ladies.
The identity of “Papa no” is still unknown even though speculations points fingers at high profile politicians in the country.
The term was used in Parliament in a recent surfaced video which saw the MP for Ofoase/Ayirebi constituency and Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah in his submission.
Haruna Iddrisu the MP for Tamale South and minority leader in Parliament registered his anguish and disrespect for the social media term used so casually in Parliament. He continued by saying he’s lost respect for the minister and henceforth doesn’t recognize Kojo Oppong Nkrumah as a minister of the state.
