One of Sarkodie’s favourite tagline is “You know say money no be problem”, but it seems Shatta Wale may have tried to empty Sarkodie’s bank account when he charged him $250k to perform at the 2020 Rapperholic concert.
Sarkodie made this revelation after he tweeted “Rapperholic“, and Shatta Wale replied, “Abi you miss me; congrats last night Rapperholic“.
Sarkodie then revealed why Shatta Wale wasn’t billed to perform on the show or concert.
He said when Shatta was approached by his (Sarkodie) team to perform, he (Shatta Wale) said his last price was $250k which is approximately GHC1.5million (GHC 1,467,215.25).
Sarkodie then said he has heard Shatta Wale, and added “We shall see”, which could mean he would also do the same or even more if Shatta needs his services.
“Man call you, you say last price 250k dollar …. Ma te .. We shall see”
But knowing how controversial and the kind of mind games these two can play, it could just be a funny joke or chat between two friends, and Shatta perhaps couldn’t perform at the show because he was busy or billed on other shows.
