How Dangerous Is The CORONAVIRUS? And How to Prevent It Spreading

The World Health Organization (WHO) recently established that the official name for the disease causing the 2019 Novel Coronavirus outbreak is COVID-19.
To begin with, coronavirus is dangerous in the sense that, its symptoms include fever, cough and difficulty breathing.
Symptoms are estimated to appear as soon as two days or as long as 14 days after exposure to the infected respiratory droplet. However, average number of people show symptoms within five days after affection. More harmfully, there are no specific treatments for coronavirus infection. There is also no vaccine for the new coronavirus as at yet.
In the late 2019 and early quarter of this year 2020, coronavirus has been a leading virus causing diseases such flu and certain types of cold prevalently in China, Cambodia and Malaysia.
Coronaviruses (COv) are a large family of viruses that causes illnesses ranging from the common cold more severe illnesses such as Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The current outbreak of coronavirus diseases (COVID-19) was first reported in Wuhan district in China on 31st December 2019 which is commonly spread through respiratory droplets through coughs and sneezes.
Even though researchers are working on gathering samples of the virus to design a therapy that will train patients’ immune cells to detect and destroy the virus, the best way to prevent the spread of the respiratory virus is to wash hands often with soap and water under flowing tap for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands, avoid close contact with people who are sick, stay home when you are sick and clean and disinfect frequently objects and surfaces.
