Beatrice Chinery popularly called ‘Miliky MiCool’ of Kejetia, Jamestown Fisherman and YOLO TV fame has died

Our afternoons were made memorable on TV by the popular local TV show Kejetia which was shown on Sundays on GTV.

The popular series also featured Gilbert Karikari a Ghanaian actor whose claim to fame began when he played a lead role in the local Television series as ‘Baffour’, who died in 2011 from an ailment.

The TV show also starred actor Ziggy Netteyson aka Don Ziggy who played the role “Koo Hia”.

Not forgetting actress Beatrice Chinery who played “Miliki Me Cool” who was everyone’s favorite tea seller.

The actress went on and made a name for herself playing “Miliki Me Cool” on popular youth show YOLO TV.

The actress also made appearances in TV show “Jamestown Fisherman”

The actress reportedly passed away on Wednesday morning at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

According to sources, the veteran actress had taken ill for months but her condition worsened today and was rushed to the hospital but died upon arrival.

Reports suggests she died of high blood pressure and other health complications.

She passed at the age of 54 years.
